Solid wood furniture
Un choix responsable pour l'environnement
Made-to-order for you in our workshop, our furniture are often made in Elm or oak. Other species may be proposed (ash, beech, Cypress...) all issues of a responsible forest management. Finally we apply a mixture of simple and natural oil of linseed and turpentine. Perfect for a daily use , simple and respectful of the environment.
The wood :
We refuse to use wood as a precious decoration without thickness, dressing a sophisticated form, whose construction doesn’t matters. Wood is for us the building material that tools, frames, stairs, houses and rarely palaces are made.
Our furniture are useful geometries, we interpenetrate volumes, we constitute masses, we erect surfaces, we articulate frameworks.
We like: the darker coloring of the wood seen from the end without an assembly, the changing tones within the same log, the design of the knots; we feel under our hand the withdrawals and deformations that will continue with the seasons and we give them free play.

Ils sont en bois massif et cela comporte des qualités et des défauts inimitables. Les assemblages sont apparents pour être plus beaux et plus solides.
En Chêne ou en Orme, ils reçoivent au naturel une finition huilée d’un entretien facile.
Sans décor mais non sans richesse, leur utilité, leur matière et leurs formes exhalent une beauté simple et durable.
Ils ont été créés par Pierre Chapo.
