2 SEATS LEATHER SOFA
Inspired by the design of the S15 armchair, Pierre Chapo further developed his research and, in 1967, created the S22 two-seater sofa. For this model, he focused on the volumes: the S22 doubles the floor area of the S15, forming a comfortable and spacious sofa while maintaining a reasonable overall size. Like the S15 and S32, the S22 is a rectangle onto which the seat systems are anchored, so that nothing is attached outside the ‘48×72’ structure.
A frame made of unglued wood, an elastic platform, a flexible leather backrest, a belt, four cushions: a seat, two armrests, a backrest filled with Bultex foam; the most comfortable set, the best quality of hides known for covering the cushions.
