Pierre Chapo designed the S 24 in 1967 for his friend Dr. Hiroshi Nakajima. It is a model on which he highlighted the strength of the half-lap joints at the corners to ensure a cleanly designed and highly rigid chair. The only decorative elements are the reinforcements between the seat frame and the feet, materialized by visible allen screws. The same goes for the back. The seat leather is stretched over a shrewd system of woven cords.
